If you are being affected by power outages and are concerned about your sewage treatment plant, please reach out for advice.
- Please lift the lid on your STP and check the levels, your system may not have been able to pump out at the scheduled time please be mindful using facilities if your tank is high. We can arrange tank empties if required or send an engineer, most importantly we want to prevent flooding of the systems.
- When the power resumes, we would expect the system to alarm ‘overfill alarm’ (solido’s) this is due to system missing its pump out time, please check the levels again and if not high use the middle button to silence the alarm, the system should resent itself within 24 hours.
- If you are experiencing flooding in your area, there is not much we can do but wait until this subsides, tankers can help to reduce surface water or empty STP’s
If your system is gravity fed, please keep an eye on levels, if the compressor isn’t working it will defer to working as a septic tank and when the power resumes it should correct itself.
